Indian Airforce To Test BRAHMOS – Issued An Alert

Apr 12, 2021

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is to test the BrahMos missile in Andaman on 14 and 16 April. This test to be held in the Indian Ocean region is being described as very important. In this regard, Notice to Airman (NOTAM) has been issued. The language which is used under this notice is not a common language, but it has special characters so that the communication can be made more effective.

NOTAM

Nine-TAM notice means important and important information given to people associated with flight operations. This information is used in advance before any test or important project. But it is not released long ago. Under this, the National Airspace System (NAS) is described as exceptional. This notice is issued on real time basis. The language which is used under this notice is not a common language, but it has special characters so that the communication can be made more effective.

Destroys Enemy In Just Seconds

BrahMos is the only missile in the world which can be launched from land, air and water from all three places. BrahMos-2 is currently placed in India’s most dangerous weapons. Attacking at a speed of 9800 kilometers per hour, this missile can destroy the enemy sitting at a distance of 1000 kilometers in a few seconds.

BrahMos is designed in such a way that it can easily be fired with the help of any warship, submarine, fighter jet or mobile launcher. In case of BrahMos-2 speed, US Army missile is four times faster than Tomahawk.

Joint Venture Of India And Russia

India and Russia have prepared this missile jointly. Therefore, the name of Brahmos is made up of the rivers of the two countries, the Brahmaputra of India and the Moskva to Russia. This missile has been developed on the technology of Russia’s P-800 Onkis cruise missile.

This missile can carry 200 kg warheads when launched from a warship and from the ground. On the other hand, if it is launched from a fighter jet, it is capable of carrying 300 kg weapons from Asani. Intercepting BrahMos-2 is very difficult.

BrahMos was first launched on 12 June 2001 from the Integrated Test Range. On 12 June 2004, the missile was launched through a mobile launcher. BrahMos Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet has also fit into Sukhoi. With this, the IAF has become more dangerous.

New Version Of Brahmos And More Dangerous

Not only this, India and Russia are also working on a new version of supersonic cruise missile BrahMos. The new BrahMos missile will also be able to stack aircraft of the enemy’s airborne early warning and control system.

Avax systems are fitted in heavy and medium range aircraft according to their size and weight. This system is actually useful for surveillance. With this help, the operators sitting inside the aircraft keep an eye on fighter jets and missiles for a certain distance.
