The Finger-2 and Finger-3 area starts from Pangontso Lake. The Chinese Army is still deployed on Finger-4. Pangontso Lake is half frozen. At this time, the temperature here has gone from -25 to -30 degrees. The cold winds ripping the body are going on here. The strategic importance of these finger areas of Pangontso Lake is very high. Pangong Lake is spread in this area for about 135 kilometers. Its area up to 45 km falls in India.

In this cold blooded war, the warriors of the Indian Army are strongly combating the enemy and nature like the rocks seen around Pangontso Lake. Army soldiers are constantly patrolling here.

The Indian Army has special arrangements for the next 14 months of logistics and survival in this snowy area. Right now there is a deadlock with China in these areas.

In fact, when the deadlock between India and China started last year, China was in the mood to capture the Finger 3 and Finger 2 area of Pangontso Lake. But the brave soldiers of the Indian Army did not allow the Chinese Army to move even an inch beyond the territory of Finger 4. Even in the month of August, the Indian Army conducted an operation in the south area of Pangontso Lake and took its position at the top in the areas of South Chushul
